PROJECT: World of Celebration (Happy Holidays)

Pitch

A site that allows people to discover holidays that are related to different countries, cultures and groups of people

Problem

How many times have you seen a holiday on your calendar that you had NO IDEA what it was? How often have you heard that someone you know was celebrating a holiday you didn’t even know existed? Most people would like to know more about what holidays exist, why they exist and what is being celebrated or remembered

Solution

This site will allow you to search different calendar holidays by country and then learn about the significance of that holiday to the people who celebrate it. This site will help people learn more about other people groups and their history.

Target Audience

1-3 sentences describing what type of user your app would be applicable to. This application would be applicable to all people groups. This site would be applicable to people that are curious about the culture of other countries. This application is for people who are looking to learn more about people they might not have a direct relationship with and want to understand more about those cultures.
