# Storytelling Reflection
1. Describe your 3-act arc by answering these three questions in 1-2 paragraphs:
* **Who are you:** Consider describing:
I am a person that values rules and respecting others beliefs. Turing expresses a belief of inclusion and having the people who make the technology look the people that use the technology. I have grown to understand that I should believe in others lived experiences as truths. I should also actively listen while others are speaking. That is, to not try to think of an answer to a question until fuly asked. This allows me to devote full attention to the speaker.
I have struggled in group settings. My personality is very blunt and I like to get straight to the point. This doesn't always lend itself well to social setting. I am learning to empathize with others. I have succeeded when I actively listened to the question others have instead of just providing them with the answer, which may not have been what they asked for.
I look forward to continuing to work on my people skills. After Turing, I would like to be in a good place where I can positively interact with others and increase productivity wherever I am at. Socially, I would like to help change the landscape of the people in IT so that it more closely resembles the people using it.
2. After you practice storytelling in the session, answer this question: What was particularly easy or difficult about telling your story? What are 1-2 steps that you can take to continue to improve your abilities to tell your story, talk about yourself with ease, and examine your strengths?
It was a bit rough to tell my life story however, it was a good to be able to voice it as I have not done it before. A step I could take is refining the story so it doesn't feel like a long introduction or just middle content. I will take notes from our PD and give it a clear beginning, middle, and ending. I realize that telling my story is a way to market myself, something I did not think about before.
