Introduction

KaiBNC is a free bouncer. Its use is a privilege, not a right. Breaking any of these rules can result in the following:

  1. Warning. I will message you, telling you what you did wrong in case it was not your fault. I will also contact an operator on that network.
  2. 1 hour account suspension. You will be unable to login to your account for 1 hour. I would like not to get to this point. Your nick will remain connected to IRC for people to message you.
  3. 12 hour ban from ZNC and IRC disconnect. Your service will be suspended and your nick disconnected from IRC. I will warn you before taking your account offline.
  4. 24 hour ban from ZNC, IRC disconnect, and report to a global/local operator on that network.
  5. Account deletion, report to global/local operator on that network.

Rules

  1. Do not attempt to deny anyone service on the bouncer. If you are found doing so, I will warn you.

3) Do not distribute illegal material over this bouncer. Doing so will result in your account being banned for 24 hours, disconnected from IRC, and a report to a global/local operator. This includes (but is not limited to):
  • Child pornography
  • The distribution of copyrighted software
  • Using this service to plan activities that are illegal in your area
  1. You must remain on the ~#Kai.ZNC partyline channel. This will result in a simple warning.
  2. Using this bouncer to cause pain for the network or attempt to break the networks Terms of Service will result in a warning and a report to the network's global/local operator.
  3. If this bouncer is used for ban evasion or akill/gline evasion, then you will be reported to the global/local operator and your account will be suspended for 24 hours.

Terms

  1. By connecting to this bouncer you agree to have your traffic logged by the bouncer. Depending on the network, your traffic may already be logged. These logs will only be used if one of the rules mentioned above is thought to have been broken or permission is given by the user.
  2. By connecting to this bouncer you agree to follow all of the rules stated above. Bans may be placed for any reason. To contest these bans, please email 1007380 [at] gmail [~dot~] com and I will review your ban.
  3. By connecting to this bouncer you agree to follow the networks terms of service. These can generally be found in the networks Message Of The Day (MOTD) or on their website.

General Info

This bouncer is running on Debian, Kernel 2.6.32-042stab072.10 The logs are never released, looked at, or tampered with. They are under lock and key on the server and, as stated in Term 1, will only be accessed if requested by the user, the network, or there is suspicion of illegal activity.
