Load My Resources will load the animation frames of the cave animation, so FancyMenu can render them in menus.
Load My Resources is available on CurseForge:
FORGE: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/load-my-resources-forge
FABRIC: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/load-my-resources-fabric
Just copy the mod JAR file you've downloaded in the last step to your .minecraft/mods
folder.
The cave animation is available on CurseForge:
https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/customization/fancymenu-minecraft-cave-animation
- Open the ZIP file you've downloaded in the last step.
- You will see two folders, the first one is called
config
and the second one is calledresources
. - Just copy these two folders to your Minecraft instance folder (The instance folder is
.minecraft
by default).
Ignore the already existing config
and resources
folders in your instance folder. Don't delete them or anything.
Your system will merge the animation folders and your existing folders together, so you don't need to do anything.
Now you're ready to actually use the animation!
- Make a new layout or open an existing one.
- Right-click the background of the editor and click on Set Background.
- Switch to the Background Animations tab and set the cave animation as background, then click on Done.
- Now save your layout and you should see the animation in your menu!
The data in "resources" folder will get deleted every time you restart the launcher and when I open the editor, it show's that the animation's name like the last picture in this guide, but nothing plays. Where should the "resources" folder contents be placed then?
