Ballad: Privacy Policy

Ballad ("the Extension") is committed to absolute user privacy and data sovereignty. Our philosophy is simple: Your data is your own. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal information to any external servers.

1. Data Collection & Usage
Zero-Access Architecture: Ballad does not collect any personal data. All notes, transcripts, images, and research data generated by the user are stored locally on the user's device using the browser's IndexedDB and the File System Access API.
No Analytics: We do not use tracking pixels, telemetry, or analytics scripts (e.g., Google Analytics). We have no visibility into how you use the extension.
No Accounts: Ballad does not require an account, email address, or any form of registration.
