メディアファイルをGoogle サービス内で共有したい場合に使えるサービス

  • lh3.google.com
  • Googleが提供するウェブホスティングサービスの一部
  • 主に画像や動画などのメディアファイルをGoogleのさまざまなサービス内で利用されるメディアコンテンツの配信に関連しているウェブホスティングサービス
    • Google フォトやGoogle ドライブにアップロードされた画像がこのドメインを通じて配信されることがある
    • ユーザーが自分のデータを効率的に保存し、アクセスすることが可能になる
  • 権限周りで一般的なアクセスができないようなケースで使えることがある
    • SpreadSheetのimage関数はパブリックに公開されが画像を使う必要がある
    • なにかの事情で一部のGoogle Driveの権限を持っている人のみがアクセスできるようにしたい場合、lh3.google.comでコンテンツのIDを指定して読み込むことができる
