Welcome to the how to that covers signing up and joining Purgatory on [MSF.gg ](https://MSF.gg )

This will be a quick write up on how:

1. Create MSF.gg account
2. Update your general account settings
3. Link your discord
4. Join the alliance
5. Import your roster
6. Set your war defense
7. Updating going forward

Create your MSF.gg account

1. Open your browser of choice.
2. Go to MSF.gg.
3. Click login.

4. Click register.

5. Fill in your registration details and click register.

6. Click login.

7. Enter your newly registered credentials and click login.

Update your general account settings

1. Click your name.

2. Click settings.

3. Click edit on the display name link.

4. Enter your display name and click done.

5. While still on the account settings page, click edit on the PID.

6. Enter your PID. This can be found in game after clicking your profile picture. Click done.

7. Finally edit your level of your overall player profile.

Link your discord

1. While still in the account settings page, click on link to discord.

2. This will bring you to the discord login web page, login and authorize the MSF.gg App.

If you have finished the above two sections your general accounts settings should look like this.

Join the alliance

1. Click on your name and choose alliance.

2. Enter Purgatory and click the magnifying glass.

3. Click apply.

4. Let an officer know, they will accept your application.

Importing your roster

1. Take screenshots of your roster, if you can do this in portrait mode it ends up being 3 images. Order does not matter, but quality is important, so if you can set your screenshots to png please do so.

2. Go to the #Links channel of our Discord and join MSF Tools discord. To save some time, here is the invite to the MSF Tools discord.

3. Once on the new discord send a dm to ToolBot saying hello.

4. Toolbot will guide you through uploading your pictures of your roster.

• Type accept
• type help for a list of commands
• send image to toolbot
• type submit when finished uploading images
• While your waiting update your stark tech levels, for example if all stark tech is at level 21 stark all 21
• Re-Upload any images that failed. If none failed type save. Remember your google sheet ID, that's the section between /d/ and /edit. In this case it was 1P-89ordUf6oVNKF-DLpJkk-rFTcUl5tmnGxvLlqX7Vo.

5. Once toolbot is complete, go back into discord, and in the #Bots channel, type ~ur toolbot .

6. Now your roster is in MSF.gg.

Since the toolbot has been updated, the next 3 steps are not needed, but I have included them in case ToolBot is having a problem.

• head back over to the roster page on MSF.gg.

• Click on MSF Tools and enter your spreadsheet ID.

• Click done.

Set your war defense

This is one of the main reasons we are using MSF.gg. This allows anyone in the alliance discord to accurately see who has available counters as we move into harder and harder matches.

1. On the MSF.gg site, click on your name and choose alliance.

2. Click on war defense.

3. Add your war defense teams and click done when finished.

Keeping the Bot up to date

I have found the easiest way to keep the bot up to date is to just use the ~ur command in the roster progress channel when I upgrade any characters. Here is a screenshot example of me upgrading some Asgardians. If you mess up the syntax the bot will tell you how to fix it. I've also included the ~ur command help from the bot below.

You can also just use screenshots once a week if you want to upload bulk instead of doing it one at a time. Simply upload your screenshots to the bot again, and once they are confirmed in your spreadsheet use the command ~ur toolbot, this will have msf.gg pull the latest data from your Toolbot spreadsheet.
