LiQiuD's StrikeForce Spreadsheet Primer

Welcome to the how to for LiQiuD's slightly modified MSF Roster Tracker Spreadsheet. You can get Zarthos' original MSF Tracker here.

This will be a quick write up on how to get started, and what my various additions are giving to you. The first step is obviously to make a copy of the spreadsheet in your own google drive. This is accomplished by clicking File --> Make a copy.

Zaratools plug

This would not be possible without the hard work of Zarathos and his maintaining of the core spreadsheet. Check out his Discord for up to date information as well as help, suggestions, and bug-reports channels.

Additional Tabs

I have created 3 of tabs in order to pull information together to make it a little easier to digest in one go. All of my custom tabs start with an *, this allows Zerathos' update process to copy them to the new version of the spreadsheet automatically.

*Priorities

This is the one stop shot, and where we will spend the most of our time going over various parts, as well as what we normally have up while playing the game.

*Mission

This is simply a list of Missions and their rewards, it helps with the gear farming on the Priorities tab. This information was pulled from here, and at some point I hope to update it.

*Events

This is just a math sheet to figure out what you need on campaign events or Milestone Events to maximize your rewards and make sure you get what you're looking for.

Important Tabs

Most tabs have Instructions at the top to help explain what you should and should not fill in.

Instructions

Zerathos has done a great job with his instructions, please take a look to help you get aquianted with your Spreadsheet.

Profile

At a bare minimum set your Name, this is what will create your spreadsheet name going forward when you update. The PID will be important if FN ever give us an API, and the rest of it is just used to import into msf.gg

Roster

This is probably one of the most important tabs. This tab drives a lot of what you see on the *Priorities Tab. Please fill it in as much as possible. Once your roster is in the spreadsheet, click MSF Tools --> Import/Export --> Export to msf.gg (csv). This will generate a file for you to upload to MSF.gg.

Inventory

This tab is needed so that the gear farming section of *Priorities is correct. This is probably the most painful tab to fill out. I have found the best way to handle it is to go into the Premium orb information --> Other Rewards --> Gear Drop, and do Green, Blue and Purple mats. From there go to the RAID tab and choose the Orange Gear Raid Orb --> Other Rewards, to finish that off. This tab is also populated by the farming tab so you can see what is needed.

Farming

This tab is the last that I'll go over in this write up. This is where you set your priorities. I typically put all the toons i know i want to improve in here, and then make use of the 'Only Priority list' check box to limit what I am farming at any given time. I only choose to target Leve, Gear and Abilities. I do not target Stars through the farming sheet.

*Priorities

  • Columns A - D are the legendary tracking columns. Use this to prepare to get each of your legendaries in turn. Currently the conditional formatting is set for 7 * toons, you can edit this as needed.

Legendary

  • Columns F1 - J10 are nodes you should farm every day. I enter those manually based on the legendary I am farming and the gear that I require.

Farming

  • Rows F11 - F15 are just reminders. When an Event Campaign is running, always use 4 x 50core energy on that event, and during double gold be sure to run the highest gold per energy spent nodes.

Event & Gold

  • Rows F16 - F27 are just my current priorities, I use this for larger goals,

Priorities

  • Rows F29 - F36 is just my typical tiers stopping point. Makes it easy to level a team together, and not spend too many resources or gold one one specific toon. YMMV sometimes you need to just level up one person from that team for a different purpose.

Character Tier

  • Row F37 is how much Gold you will need based on the Farming tab.

Gold Needed

  • Rows F38 - F43 is how much of each ability material you will need based on the Farming Tab. Place your what you currently have in Column I40 - I43. Conditional Formatting will do the rest.

Ability Mats

  • Rows F44 - F49 is just a reminder about the costs to upgrade a toon from 0 - 65.

Upgrade Costs

  • Rows L1 - O9 are a list of shards from each store to purchase, order them to support your current legendary and gearing goals.

Stores

  • Rows P1 - P09 are just a set of links that I like to keep handy.

Links

  • Rows L11 - P14 is a list of Stark Tech by priority that needs to be spent. In an ideal world you will level up all of your stark tech to the maximum, but these are the priorities.

Stark Tech

  • Rows L16 - P49 are the Gear Farming section. This data is pulled from the Inventory tab and the *Missions tab. This is kind of manual, and one of the things I plan on automating at some point. I always leave the ABCs in place, and then paste the needed gear from the Intentory Tab into Column L. This will then pull the data for Column M, N, and O. Conditional Formating is also in place here. I use nodes from this section, and the Legendary section to determine my daily campaign nodes in F1 - J10.

Gear Farming

I hope this has been helpful, I know it's a lot to take in. Once your comfortable with this part of the sheet, I encourage you to explore the other tabs. Setting up Raid teams, War defense and offense teams, as well as blitz, and other portions of the spreadsheet will make your priorities in this game even more clear to you.
