(* Script to record and tag spotify tracks, by Lloyd Moore *)
(* Modified by Tiffany G. Wilson to resolve audio splitting issues, automate starting/stopping, and add recording customization *)
(* Snippets for controlling Spotify are from Johnny B on tumblr (http://johnnyb.tumblr.com/post/25716608379/spotify-offline-playlist) *)
(* The idea of using delayed tagging/filename updating is from a guest user on pastebin (http://pastebin.com/rHqY0qg9) *)
(* The only thing to change in the script is the output format; you must change the file extension and the recording format to match *)
(* Run this script once a song you want to record is queued (stopped at beginning) or playing *)
(* Running the script will initiate hijacking, recording and audio playback *)
(* To stop script, pause Spotify or wait for album/playlist to end*)
(* To set id3 tags, use application Kid3 (http://sourceforge.net/projects/kid3/) and copy '%{artist} - %{album} - %{track} - %{title}' from file name to Tag 2 *)

‪“‬In what way is JS any more maintainable than CSS? How does writing CSS in JS make it any more maintainable?”

‪Happy to chat about this. There’s an obvious disclaimer that there’s a cost to css-in-js solutions, but that cost is paid specifically for the benefits it brings; as such it’s useful for some usecases, and not meant as a replacement for all workflows. ‬

‪(These conversations always get heated on twitter, so please believe that I’m here to converse, not to convince. In return, I promise to listen to you too and change my opinions; I’ve had mad respect for you for years and would consider your feedback a gift. Also, some of the stuff I’m writing might seem obvious to you; I’m not trying to tell you if all people of some of the details, but it might be useful to someone else who bumps into this who doesn’t have context)‬

So the big deal about css-in-js (cij) is selectors.

/* Helper buddy for removing async/await try/catch litter 🗑 */
function O_o(promise) {
return promise.then(data => {
if (data instanceof Error) return [data]
return [null, data]
}).catch(err => [err])
}
/* Look ma, no try/catch */
async function usageExample(params) {

Useful CSS utilities for Vue.js cloaking

Handy helpers for controlling visibility of elements until Vue has compiled.

Use like:

<div v-cloak>
  <h1>
    <span class="v-cloak--inline">Loading...</span> <!-- Only displayed before compiling -->
    <span class="v-cloak--hidden">{{ post.title }}</span> <!-- Hidden until compiling is finished -->

Audio Hijack Pro & Spotify -- No Polling
-- Usage
-- 1. Edit the settings (see below). This step is NECESSARY the first time you use it!
-- 2. Run this script (this should open Audio Hijack Pro and Spotify)
--
-- NOTE: the script assumes that each track is played entirely. You CANNOT skip tracks in Spotify.
-- If you do so the script will get out of sync and the resulting files contain partial or multiple songs.
-- You can abort a recordig session by stopping this script and ending (manually) the recording
-- in Audio Hijack Pro.
--
-- You need to have "atomicparsley" installed on your system. You can install the application with

How to get on Rinkeby Testnet in less than 10 minutes

Following instructions from the excellent https://www.rinkeby.io/

Synchronizing a Full Node

A full node lets you access all state. There is a light node (state-on-demand) and wallet-only (no state) instructions as well,

// place this file in __mocks__
let pendingAssertions
exports.prompt = prompts => {
if (!pendingAssertions) {
throw new Error(`inquirer was mocked and used without pending assertions: ${prompts}`)
}
const answers = {}
