GSoC 2017

Google Summer of Code 2017 Final Submission Report

Project:

This summer I worked on SUSI.AI project, which is an assistant built by the open source community FOSSASIA. To be exact, I have integrated SUSI.AI to messengers and enhanced already existing SUSI.AI bots. Bots are deployed on Google container engine using Kubernetes.

SUSI AI Bots are built to make SUSI.AI work on different messaging clients. Users can talk to SUSI on Facebook, Twitter, Line, Skype, Telegram, Viber, Slack, Kik, Google Hangouts and Gitter. SUSI bots can be tested as described in this document.

I also contributed in making new skills for SUSI.AI and improving the already built skills.

  • Message SUSI.AI by scanning this Barcode from the messenger app, or visit this url on the web.
  • Start chatting with SUSI.AI Facebook bot

  • Sign in on twitter
  • Tweet to @SusiAI1 in your tweets to get a tweet back from SUSI.AI with an answer to your query.
  • To be able to personally message the account, first follow the account by visiting this link and clicking on the follow button. This will make the SUSI.AI account follow you back, enabling it to reply to your personal chat messages.
  • Now, you can click the message button present on the home page of @SusiAI1 account

  • Raised some Issues and helped my web app co-developers in solving them.

SUSI.AI bots under review:

SUSI Cortana Skill, SUSI action on Google Assistant and SUSI Alexa SKill are being reviewed by the corresponding organisations to be available for public. As soon as they will get reviewed, they will be available for the public use.
