We have many reasons why we can't and won't sign non-disclosure agreements (NDA) for pitches. Here are just a few:
- People with the talent and resources capable of stealing your idea have much better things to do than steal other people's ideas.
- Hampering our ability to share your idea also hampers our ability to help you develop your idea.
- Ideally you are a passionate expert in the subject matter of your solution. We don't have the desire or time to become as expert as you are.
- If your idea is that easy to steal, it may not be as valuable as you believe it to be.
- We don't require you to divulge any proprietary "secret sauce" as a part of the pitch process.
- We hear many ideas and work with many companies. We can't possibly open ourselves up to the liability of agreeing to protect your idea in exchange for just hearing what the idea is.
