How do I record a personalised voicemail greeting?

To record a personalised greeting:

Dial 50000 from your sipgate device

Dial 0 (for options)

Dial 1 (and record your message from your phone handset)

Press the hash key # when you are through recording.


Alternatively, you can record a greeting via a fixed phone line by dialling one of the following numbers:

0207 043 7777 
0845 004 7777

If dialling one of the above numbers you will need your SIP ID and voicemail PIN in order to log in.

What options are available on the voicemail menu?

When you dial the voicemail number 50000 on your sip device or 020 7043 7777 or 0845 004 7777 on a regular landline you will hear the voicemail menu.

The following options are available in the menu:

Press the corresponding key to access the feature you require.

  [ 1 ] For new messages

  [ 4 ] For previous messages
  [ 5 ] To repeat the message
  [ 6 ] For the next message 
  [ 7 ] to delete this message

  [ 2 ]To change folders

  [ 0 ] New messages
  [ 1 ] Old messages
  [ # ] Cancel

  [ 0 ] Configure your sipgate voicemail

  [ 1 ] Create your own greeting

  [ 1 ] Save your greeting
  [ 2 ] Listen to your greeting
  [ 3 ] Change your greeting

  [ 4 ] Change your voicemail PIN
  [ * ] Main Menu

You can also press [ * ] for help or press the [ # ] key to exit.

Setting up voice mail

1 - set a voicemail pin number

2 - open telephone and dial 50000

3 - record and save message

4 - go to the voicemail settings and set send wav attachment

5 - go to the call forwarding tab and create a new rule

after 20 seconds forward to voicemail
