Backup your KeyChain on Mac OS X

  • 2 Locations to backup
  • /Library/Keychains/System.keychain => Your keychain (could be more than just 1)
  • Dont forget the second file at /var/db/SysemKey
  • This last file is the key to unlock your keychain.. ur locked out without it!!
sudo cp /Library/Keychains/System.keychain /var/db/SystemKey ~/NavKeyChain23July
