  • Install SAR

  • Get SAR.asl (Right click -> Save as -> SAR.asl)

  • Add Scriptable Auto Splitter to layout

  • Browse and add SAR.asl as Script Path

In recent years, SAR's autosplitter is packaged with LiveSplit, so you don't need to do anything extra to get autosplitting working.

If you are experiencing trouble with the speedrun timer:

  • Check that both Start and Split are ticked in the (Right click -> Edit Splits -> Autosplitter settings) menu (Reset being greyed out is intentional)
  • Check that you are comparing against Game Time in the (Right click -> Compare against) menu.
  • Remove any additional autosplitter from the layout. The timer will split twice if more than one autosplitter is active.
  • Check that you are starting LiveSplit after starting the game.
  • Check that you are starting LiveSplit as administrator.
