So I will not forget them and so people know what I am interested in working on next
- Remnant of old ways and paths
- Mainly intended as a map extra
- Consists of an old beaten path, maybe with some decaying fence, some gravel mixed into the road. Appears in fields.
- Flora: Add mutated clams and a decorative-only mutated deer
- Deer: Fractal antlers, really just decorative because it is mainly an idea I find cool and because it displays the effect of the blob
- Clam: Potential dangerous stationary enemy
- Add a "disturbed" furniture/terrain mapgen group
- So non-native flora such as lilacs and stuff can still be found in non-city environments at e.g abandoned barns or sheds or even camps.
- Realism!
- Give cats some love
- Cats do not turn feral. Given they can read humans fairly well, they may not be as shy as they currently are towards survivors
- Just because a cat is described as feral, they are not in an unhygienic state unless sick
- Variety: Turn up tabby and generic domestic shorthair cats so breeds are more rare. Most cats are just bog standard ones irl
Lower priority because more complex:
- Civilian (as in the monsters, maybe some NPCs) camps along roads, ask for direction to refugee center
- Having a small NPC faction appear at the exodii base after some time would be pretty rad, too
- Look into subway spawns and make it less spiders because spiders would irl be pretty rare down there
- We would need more urban wildlife mutants anyways. E.g raccoons, pidgeons, rats, cockroaches
- Have bombed labs
- Lore says they were bombed. I want pretty craters replacing most labs.
- But we need more underground terrain for that, too. Maybe cisterns, connecting from the sewers?
