"The army’s formation is like water. Water’s configuration avoids heights and
rushes towards the low. So the army’s formation of force avoids the strong and
strikes the weak. Water adapts its flow in accord with the terrain. So the army
adapts to the enemy to achieve victory. Therefore the army does not maintain any
constant force or configuration of power. Therefore of the five elements, none a
constant victor, of the four seasons, none has constant position. The sun shines
for short and long periods; and the moon waxes and wanes."
- Sun Tzu
Walking away is never easy. Especially when you're on top, there's this urge to
keep going, and take things to their logical conclusion. There's also an urge,
which also cannot be ignored, to quit while you're ahead, and avoid jumping the
shark. At this stage of the game, I think it's fair to say, especially after
reviewing the Edward Snowden leaks closely, that the feds don't have the
techological ability to catch me. They're lagging behind the academics in terms
of fresh ideas, and seem to be relying on getting the media to publish things
about tor supposedly being broken somehow. The British are especially guilty of
this particular brand of intellectual dishonesty. Don't fall for it.
Part of the reason DOXBIN has continued to exist for so long is because I wanted
to see if a properly configured and managed hidden service could avoid being
taken down by the government, and if tor's promise of anonymity would hold up
under pressure. The lesson seems to be, with the NSA disclosures and the recent
busts in mind: Tor itself is sound. The applications involved (Firefox, webapp
code, random server software) are the weak link, which has been laid out in
all of the official tor documentation ever. Hidden services need more developer
love, but they can withstand the pressure unless someone comes along with a 0day
or the FBI does some good old fashioned police work (As in the case of DPR).
After the last 2 and a half years, I've found myself getting bored with running
the site. Part of this is because of the natural tedium that goes with doing the
same thing every day, and that's only been magnified by the fact that nobody
even really tries to come after me anymore. I can't hop on a random IRC network,
or follow someone on Twitter, without causing mass-panic. I still find that part
of being DOXBIN hilarious, but it almost never leads to any fun.
The hard part with anything like this is finding an exit strategy that works.
I could have just shut it down, but that feels too much like admitting defeat
when I have such a sterling track record of winning every time I go up against
someone. With that being ruled out almost immediately, that meant finding
someone who was willing to take it over, and that proved to be no easy task. I'm
happy to say that after nearly a year of searching, I found someone who I think
will be able to run DOXBIN effectively. After filling in the gaps in his
knowledge of the areas that matter, Intangir is now ready to run things.

This is going to serve as little more than a list of updates.
First up, a little something from Intangir: An update to AnonWare.txt. It
includes the legion.cm database, which he dumped while making all the children
who use that site think that zeekill did it. That caused a wave of mass-panic,
which lead to all the semi-decent people in Legion (Some HackForums group)
quitting. All in all, a good show. Enjoy the user table with 23k entries.

Next up is RyanC, aka zeekill. He's apparently not in jail anymore, and I've
issued a small update, which removes the old pictures of the wrong Julius, and
replaces them with his real ones.

The next few aren't worth bringing up individually, so they will be addressed
collectively. The AfraidIRC HTP Victim's Support Group just needed a little bit
last minute bitchslapping before I hand the keys to the sky fortress over.
Their sins range from placing a carpal tunnel curse on me (Kamonra), to
hilariously wrong dox (xnite), and trying to beg Gatsby for HTP/NSA logs in
order to get out of a drug charge (soli).

Last but not least, I have a little teaser on Gatsby from SwaggSec, aka Plumb3r.
Some time ago, I placed his face picture in the DOXBIN source code archive as
"me_smiling.jpg," in keeping with one of the site's long-standing running gags.
Today I present 2 screenshots from incose.org, while Gatsby was using it for IRC
(By the way, shame on you for shit talking Hack The Planet for targeting Cold
Fusion, only to use a ColdFusion root for IRC. Tsk, tsk).
http://doxbindtelxceher.onion/media/gatsby/1375690472.png // Nice nickserv pass.
http://doxbindtelxceher.onion/media/gatsby/1375839964.png
That last screenshot begs the question: Is Gatsby chasing ghosts, or are the
ghosts chasing Gatsby?

When I first started this trip, I was just a hard boiled internet detective who
wanted to own random people. Since then, I've poked at members of every hacking
scene faction that mattered (As well as a bunch who didn't) and none of them
were able to do anything that mattered in retaliation. Of them all, the only
proper nemesis I had during the entire time was Le_Researcher. The rest were
pale imitations or too clueless to be interesting for long. I can only hope
Intangir gets his own leres, because that's what makes this job fun. That is,
if Kamonra doesn't learn how to cast Vanish and Doom...
Being the Dark Lord of Dox was fun, but it got old. I got away with everything,
and there's nothing anyone will be able to do about it. Intangir runs DOXBIN
now, and I have a feeling that once he really gets started, everyone I ever
poked (Including but not limited to middle aged house wives, the badge-wearing
sissies in the Internet Crimes division, and wanna-be whitehat types) is going
to wish I had stayed at the helm. I could go into some overwritten tangent about
how he's going to run things, but I'll let his actions and words speak for him.
