How to install DeFRaG ( on windows )

Hi this will walk you through the steps of installing DeFRaG!

This guide was written nearly a decade ago, for a more updated guide, see the DeFRaG Racing guide

  • Move the pak0.pk3 file into the baseq3 subdirectory wherever you installed the engine & game data

Step 5

  • Extract the DeFRaG Mod zip & iDFe Engine zip into the same directory where you installed the engine & game data, it should NOT be in the baseq3 directory, it should be in the same directory AS baseq3 results after defrag files are extracted
