Updating Address on Charles Schwab Web App

I wanted to update my address on the schwab.com web app, but I couldn't find proper instructions anywhere. So I called them, and here's what they said (I had to do):

Instructions

1. Log into to the schwab.com web app.
2. Click on "Messages". Click on "Take me to Message Center".
3. Click "Upload document". (We won't be uploading a document. We're just sending a message.)
4. Under the "Subject" drop-down, choose "Account Inquiry".
5. Don't attach any files.
6. In the "Message" textbox, tell them you want to update your address and provide your new address:

Hi there,
I would like to update my address.
Here's my new address:
Street Address: ...
City: ...
State/Province: ...
Country: ...
Thank you.

I hope anyone trying to update their address on the Charles Schwab app finds this useful. :) I really wish the usability of the web app was better. Date: Dec 21, 2021

I received a response a day after submitting my address update request/message:

... Happy to help. I have submitted the request to update both your home/legal and mailing addresses on your account. Your case ID is _______. Please allow 7-10 business days to reflect this change online. To view your address listed on your brokerage account, simply log into the brokerage account at www.schwab.com and go to Service > My Profile. Once it has been updated, it will reflect here.

Regulations surrounding fraud require that we send a physical letter confirmation to both addresses, so please keep an eye out for those to arrive.

In addition, if you have not already done so, you will want to be sure to update your address with your employer.
