This list is listing good client-side fabric mods in several categories especially ones designed to replace optifine (There are also a couple of bonus mods at the end)
- Command Creative Tabs
- Simply adds a creative tab for all those pesky command-given blocks
- Mouse Wheelie
- Adds some nice features to make moving items around better
- Auth Me
- This simple mod just adds a button to re-authenticate you with the Mojang account servers to fix the issue where upon joining a server you would sometimes be asked to restart the game and launcher
- Tweakeroo
- This one adds some cool tweaks that extend to the territory of hacked client features and "cheats". Great for some things (especially technical Minecraft, Ilmango uses it for some cool stuff) but probably not good for public servers
- Grid
- Simply adds the ability to render in various grids onto the world, making your mindless tasks take less brainpower
- Canvas Renderer
- A shaders mod that aims to allow mod authors to make prettier mods.
- LambdaBetterGrass
- The better grass feature from optifine but more better
- LambDynamicLights
- Simply good dynamic lighting
