Drums sampled for B2W2:
XD: Gale of Darkness Instruments:
GoD seems to use some EDIROL ORCHESTRA HQ-QR VSTi for the a lot of orchestral pieces, to name a few...
Final Battle Shadow Lugia Battle Phenac City ~ Crisis SS Libra
Halion is also important for achieving an XD/Colosseum style imitation.
Kontakt + HALion 5 + VSL = Shota Kageyama EWQL + HALion 5 = Minako Adachi MAGiX Independence + EWQL + HALion 5 = Go Ichinose + Hitomi Sato reFX Nexus 2 (only collabs w/ Kageyama) = Junichi Masuda
DPPt Instruments = ROLAND/EDIROL HYPER CANVAS - Practically identical instruments. Good standard timpani for DP songs because it's literally an updated DP soundbank
HGSS Instruments = Kontakt + EWQL fit right in with Pro-53 for synths and Addictive Drums for heavy drum tracks
PRO TIP - Use "MOD/DXF/ACC" samples on EWQL SO and roll the Mod Wheel upwards if you want a heavier and more attack-ish sound, especially on strings.
Keyswitch samples have different playing styles located at the BEGINNING of the piano roll. You can change your view of the keyboard on EWQL itself by clicking the + and - buttons next to the keyboard
^ For old KOMPAKT versions only, but same Mod Wheel method should apply to the sample instruments in your PLAY version
PRO TIP - Stylus RMX has a lot more then just loops! Click Mixer and change the mode to Kit. There are tons of drum styles to chose from and I'll be taking a look at them to see if they've been used at all in the games!
Addictive Drums Startup Kit is used in a whole host of songs. Check the ORAS/XY Trainer Battle themes for reference on what the kit sounds like.
