My ZSH Theme

agnoster.zsh-theme

A ZSH theme optimized for people who use:

  • Solarized
  • Git
  • Unicode-compatible fonts and terminals (I use iTerm2 + Menlo)

For Mac users, I highly recommend iTerm 2 + Solarized Dark

Setup modern.ie vagrant boxes

Setup modern.ie vagrant boxes

Since modern.ie released vagrant boxes, it' no longer necessary to manually import the ova file to virtualbox, as mentioned here.

However, the guys at modern.ie didn't configured the box to work with WinRM. This how-to addresses that, presenting steps to proper repackage these boxes, adding WinRM support. Additionally configures chocolatey package manager and puppet provisioner.

Feeling homeSync? Sync your home dir to a git repo with launchd every 30 minutes (macOS)

Feeling homeSync?

  1. Place homeSync.sh and homeSync.plist in your home dir
  2. It's recommended to place the .gitignore in your home dir as well, to prevent checking in all your things :)

After doing that, run the following commands in ~/.

cd ~
git init
git remote add origin

Background

This repo contains instructions for setting up plex on an ESXi virtual machine, using hardware transcoding via a passthrough GPU. While these instructions have only been tested on the stack described below, I believe they should work for other setups that may involve GPU passthrough devices o
