Its the right size, it wards off dust just like it says. I ordered just the dust cover and surprisingly its a tad “water resistant”. By that i mean any part of the cover that isn’t directly laying flat on your car will “roll” water off the side. Pretty cool! I ordered and used Amazon’s size confirming feature to make sure it would fit the 1998 lincoln town car i meant to fit it on (turtle shell) which measures out to about 18 feet and the cover claims to be 22 feet (which it is) but it didn’t cover the whole car. Keep in mind this year town car doesn’t come with a hood ornament it has a flat hood. I installed a hood ornament myself because i like the look and thought the extra 4 feet provided by this cover would accommodate my addition and provide adequate protection. Just to make sure i folded the side mirrors flush against my vehicle to avoid any snagging. I was super confident it would fit perfectly. I was wrong! The front of the car and emblem are covered without any major stress and im confident that it will remain affixed to the body of my vehicle. If you did end up adding a hood ornament like i did it wont be under any amount of stress as long as the cover is not pulled over the rear bumper! It will cover the break lights completely and if you own one of these model Lincolns you know how sensitive they are. If you have a hood ornament installed like i do It wont cover the rear bumper but rather rest between the top of it and the bottom line of the trunk. Im ok with it since the rear bumper is plastic. I can find a replacement but as far as protecting all the major panels of your Lincoln its solid. 5/5 great product! Because of tree saps, bee poop and bee pollen, my car gets dirty in a few hours and not much I can do about it so I decided to cover in the morning when I get to work and remove at lunch and cover again then remove when I go home. I’ve been doing this for 3 months now and it’s great that my car is clean all the time. My coworkers must be thinking I’m too much but actually it’s very easy to put it on; takes about 1 min. At first it took 5 min but I learned a technic; it has labels (Green label says “Front” and Red one says “Back” so what I do is to hook both side ends of cover to side mirrors then start from the front(elastic cover all wants to come to the front when I pull but by hooking on side mirrors stop them) then work on the front then after that pull the loop says “Back” all the way to the back of the car, that’s it! "content": "This is the second product: Budge Duro 3 Layer Car Cover, Water Resistant, Scratchproof, Dustproof Cover, Fits Cars up to 22', Gray and here are its reviews from other people, I'll send more reviews in a bit: [{\"rating\":\"5.0 out of 5 stars\",\"title\":\"5.0 out of 5 stars\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n \\n \\n Great Fit - low Cost\",\"text\":\"So I lent my convertible out and the borrowee blew up the engine (parts all over the highway) a month before it was due for emission testing and I was going in for reconstructive back surgery.Out comes the cover. Unfortunately the only cover I had was Budge's indoor cover (pulled off another convertible taking up the garage.) This lasted much longer than I anticipated making it through the winter and half the summer before it disintegrated under the UV rays.I went to Amazon to replace it and was delighted by the sizing tool which informed me that I had been using the wrong size cover. I used the tool to select the correct size cover rated for outdoor use. It has been on the car for 4 months and hasn't been bothered by wind or rain (including the storm that took out power for 1.2million homes) or the hood support (hood removed with the engine) or antenna. It still looks and feels brand new when I pull it back to work on the car. Before I purchased the cover I read several negative reviews. I tried drilling down and couldn't find whether the reviewers had purchased the Duro (outdoor) cover or the indoor. Since the performance of their covers was almost exactly like my indoor cover drafted into outdoor service I guessed they had purchased the (cheaper) indoor cover.I couldn't be more pleased. After the car is roadworthy again I will probably continue to use the cover to protect the paint and convertible top ($2K and $500 respectively.) Well worth the $40 or so invested.Update - Jan. 2013 - So we couldn't figure out why I wasn't healing from my earlier back surgery. It turns out I'd managed to break a vertebrae. So - more surgery on me and more car sitting and waiting for a rebuild. The $40 car cover is standing up better than my back which at this point is getting to be quite an expensive item.Halfway through the winter and the top is doing great. The elastic has loosened a little. When I noticed this I looked for and found some re-enforced eyelets so I could clip a bungee on and keep on moving. There is still enough elasticity to allow for easily pulling the front or the rear up to access the trunk or whatever.Even with the loosening of the elastic I'm sticking with five stars because for the price this thing is outperforming any reasonable expectations. I'll try to remember to do another update when we hit the year mark. Hopefully by then we'll be back to a running car.Update - July 2013 - Not to sound like a broken record but we found another broken bone so the cover is continuing to be forced into service. The cover is finally starting to show some wear. I moved the car recently and being lazy didn't remove the cover. It slipped under one of the wheels and developed a couple of tears (at the bumper and the antenna.) When it was new this same maneuver didn't induce tears. The good news is that while it has worn to the point that it will tear if stressed it is still holding together. I figure I can get another winter out of it before replacement. That will make for a solid 2 year life expectancy. Given how this one has lasted I will definitely be replacing it with the same cover.Update - Nov 2014 - The tears I introduced in 2013 have increased to the point that I have broken down and replaced the cover. I decided to upgrade to a higher quality cover from the same manufacturer. The thing that surprised me was what good shape my old torn cover is in. I was intending to put the new one on and throw the scraps of the old away. When I took the old on off I was surprised by how good it felt. I honestly think I could repair the tears and go on using this cover. I stuck in the back of the garage to keep as a spare. - For any interested the continued need for the cover does mean that more broken hardware has had to come out of my back. The broken screw count is up to three. I'm losing faith in titanium. If the new cover proves more durable than this one I'll not it here as well as starting a new review for that product.\"},{\"rating\":\"5.0 out of 5 stars\",\"title\":\"5.0 out of 5 stars\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n \\n \\n It fits Honda Civic\",\"text\":\"Arrived as described and protecting car from Florida sun\"},{\"rating\":\"3.0 out of 5 stars\",\"title\":\"3.0 out of 5 stars\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n \\n \\n Not the value I was expecting\",\"text\":\"I relied upon the reviews to pick this item. It arrived promptly and immediately after opening the box, I realized that it is made from extremely cheap, almost recycled paper-like material. To give you an idea: the same exact material is used for disposable bags at the car show to let you take home their booklets. It is very porous and I would never even think about using this cover outside. However, since that was not my intension, I decided to give it a fair chance. After fighting it for 5 minutes (get a second person to help you) I managed to stretch it over my car and stepped back to look at the results. It was a classic Homer Simpson moment (when he builds a barbecue and first looks at the booklet and then at his creation): \\\"Wow, what a beautiful car cover... Why doesn't mine look like that?!!! Doh!!!\\\". Of course, your individual results may vary, but for my car it was just way too small (and yes, I did use the compatibility tool). Not only it did not go to the bottom of the car on both sides, it could not even completely cover the bumpers. This lasted much longer than I anticipated making it through the winter and half the summer before it disintegrated under the UV rays.I went to Amazon to replace it and was delighted by the sizing tool which informed me that I had been using the wrong size cover.
