We have been building Free Code Camp in de-facto 1-month sprints, where we ship a block of improvements every Summit.
This has worked OK so far, but there are some areas where we need to focus, and have longer-term goals with measurable outcomes.
Here are our points of focus:
- Improving FCC's codebase (new features, paying down technical debt)
- Expanding (and internationalizing) our video challenges
- Expanding (and internationalizing) our wiki
- Getting campers to stream much, much more frequently on Twitch.tv
- Building external tools that can be maintained outside of FCC's core repo (like the Challenge-o-matic)
- Expanding our front end and data visualization certification challenges
- Taking over and/or improving Node School's challenges
To this end, here are the goals, with product's owner (person responsible) for them in parenthesis.
