Guidelines for streaming on Free Code Camp's Twitch.tv Channel
Starting:
1) Make sure no one is streaming before you try to stream.
2) Introduce yourself.
3) make sure your music VS microphone levels are good and if possible, show yourself through your webcamp.
4) make a !songrequest in moobot.tv to get the music going.
5) Go to this URL and type what you will be streaming: https://www.reddit.com/r/WatchPeopleCode/login?dest=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.reddit.com%2Fr%2FWatchPeopleCode%2Fsubmit%3Furl%3Dhttp%253A%252F%252Ftwitch.tv%252Ffreecodecamp%26resubmit%3Dtrue
6) Tweet this message: Watch me _____ live at twitch.tv/freecodecamp @freecodecamp #LearnToCode #JavaScript.
During:
1) Monitor the chat and respond to messages every few minutes. You can keep Moobot visible on a second monitor if you want.
2) Think outloud as much as possible.
3) Assume that there will be children watching and put your best foot forward.
4) Keep it JavaScript and web development-related.
5) Make sure your audience knows they can request music with !songrequest - skip any inappropriate music (and Rick Rolls).
Finishing:
1) Thank everyone for watching.
2) Ask them to follow Free Code Camp so they'll get a notification next time we come on.
