This document entails the privacy policy and agreement that you accept when adding Element to a server, or as a member of the community/support. This document does not supersede the Discord Terms of Service.
- Server Manager: Anyone who has the ability to add the bot to a server or configure the bot for the server. This is usually an administrator or moderator.
- Server Member: Anyone who is a member of server to which the bot has been added.
- Element - The discord bot
The following items may be collected and stored when intentionally provided by a user (usually by means of a command). This data will not be collected automatically. When providing data in this way, you forego any rights to the content of the data provided.
- Server Member ids
- Server configuration (permissions, role ids, channel ids, ect)
- Server ids
- Data and content for automated tasks (Cog Settings)
- Message Content
- Internal Tracking
The following items may be collected and stored automatically when certain features are enabled or by default.
- Message Content (snipe, automod, starboard, donation)
- Member Activity
- Member Status
If you have any concern of data collected about you that is not provided by discord such as your discord ID and is data that is specific to your profile (not bound by a server, e.g. donations, modlogs, etc), you may join the support server to request for deletion
All stored data is kept on protected servers. Data is encrypted and kept within password-protected databases on Google servers. Please keep in mind that even with these protections, no data can be 100% secure. All efforts are taken to keep your data secure and private, but its absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
We reserve the right to modify this document at any time, and we will inform you of this changes via a post in the support server. It is your responsibility to read the updated Agreement, your continued use of Element after any changes made to the Privacy Policy will be regarded as acceptance of the updated Agreement
By adding Element to your server or using these services in any way, you are consenting to the policies outlines in this document. In addition, you (the server manager) are agreeing to inform your members of the Discord Terms of Service and the contents of this document. If you, the server member, do not agree to this document, you may leave the server that contains the bot.
