Canadian Dates & Holiday

CANADIAN DATES & HOLIDAYS

The Daylight Savings Time (DST) starts on the second Sunday of March every year at 2:00 AM. The clock moves forwards 1 hour at that time. The Daylight Savings Time (DST) ends on the first Sunday of November every year at 2:00 AM. The clock moves backwards 1 hour at that time. One good way to remember this is "Spring forward, fall back."

The first day of the week is officially Sunday.

Canada officially uses the month/day/year format when writing dates. Canada officially uses the metric units system. However, some people unofficially use the imperial units system, and it used that system historically. Canada officially uses the Gregorian Calendar.
