The TASCORP USB2.0 WebCam (ID 17a1:0128) loads the gspca_t613 driver correctly but produces only blurry noise or colored glow in applications. Standard driver fixes (v4l2convert, module reload, quirks) do not resolve this.
The camera has a manual focus ring. When rotated to an extreme position, the image becomes so defocused that the output appears as pure noise—easily mistaken for driver corruption.
Rotate the lens ring until the image sharpens.
