- Provide a first point of contact for computer science students and computer enthusiasts in Langwith college
- Run small-scale social events based on usual group interests (video games, movies, etc.)
- Provide an open community for members to communicate, aid one another, learn, and get feedback on their work
- Promote excellence through self- and club-guided learning and competition
- Firmly set Langwith's reputation as a premier CS college
- Act to some extent as a feeder for HackSoc
- Encourage LCC members to go to HackSoc socials and engage in HackSoc events
- Run smaller events that complement HackSoc's events
- Mostly informal, probably having a chair and a secretary to organise and run events
- Communication and discussion mainly using forum software
- Encourage informal association as well as club meetings
- Related activities such as video games, board games and movies
- Competitions/Programming activities
- Perhaps small presentations/lightning talks
- Perhaps debates on related topics
