What does each group member hope to get out of this project? CA: EB: Learning new technology KV: A project that I can actually show off JS: Learning, differentiation with AWS
Goals and expectations: MVP, good extensions
Team strengths: Great UI and microinteractions on the frontside, solid understanding of the backend, we can do the thing, everyone is willing to put in the time to make sure we have a solid application at the end
How to overcome obstacles: Communication, daily standups at noon, flexibility, reasses goals at the end of each sprint
Schedule Expectations (When are we available to work together and individually?): assess as we go, everyone is available as needed with the exception of specific time around the holidays
Communication Expectations (How and often will we communicate? How do we keep lines of communication open?): Daily lunchtime standups, Slack project channel
Abilities Expectations (Technical strengths and areas for desired improvement): AWS deployment, GraphQL, Swyft, Dart or React Native on frontend are desired improvement areas. Strengths: frontend aesthetics
Workload Expectations (What features do we each want to work on?): MVP: AWS deployment, GraphQL with Node.js (ask Edwin Node questions), Geolocation, ability to update app data, button survey/info questionnaire,
Workflow Expectations (Git workflow/Tools/Code Review/Reviewing Pull Requests): Never merge your own PR, use PR and Issue templates, discussions via PRs
Expectations for giving and receiving feedback: kind and actionable, communiation is key to life
Repo organization: Kirk and Corina will host FE and BE repos, respectively. One person will create a general Git Project and then associate our two repos.
