CarbonGhost's recommended OptiFine alternatives

CarbonGhost's OptiFine alternatives

This is my personal list of OptiFine replacements. Although other lists exist, this list aims to be an simple feature replacement list that aims not to overwhelm you.

This list was written with 1.18 and 1.17 in mind, but many mods should still be available for 1.16 and 1.15. The critiques of OptiFine aren't relevant to a specific version of the game.

This script bulk-renames many things in Godot 3 projects to hopefully make it easier to convert them to Godot 4.

# replacing as possible here so that the diffs Godot produces are smaller.

This tutorial shows how to run docker natively on Android, without VMs and chroot.

Docker on Android 🐋📱

Edit 🎉

All packages, except for Tini have been added to termux-root. To install them, simply pkg install root-repo && pkg install docker. This will install the whole docker suite, left only Tini to be compiled manually.

Adding Dependencies

Introduction

Adding Dependencies allows you to access hooks, tools and apis provided by other mods. Depending on other's code allows you to spend lesser time on writing your code, and more time on refining it. A commonly used dependency in fabric is Fabric API.

Adding the repository

Open your build.gradle file and add the required maven repositories

repositories {
    maven {
 name = "Example"

Big List of Modpack Things

Also see the Modrinth Awesome list, and a (probably somewhat outdated) list of curse modpack downloaders at https://gist.github.com/jikuja/f44533a16ad04624c3eb8e99e7a3e494/

This list is a bit outdated in places, but I'm still adding things here so that I don't forget them.
