With the software technologies fast evolving, it is no longer impossible to play your favourite games in linux, here is how you can do it.

Basic Setup: The basic requirements for running any kind of game on linux are steam proton, wine and lutris. - Link to download Lutris is here. - Wine can be downloaded from here. - To set up proton, first steam client needs to be installed. Then in the client, enable steam play, which is the beta program, and download the latest stable version of proton. Link to protondb

In the video, we have shown 4 major titles:

1. The Witcher Wild Hunt: This game is being run using the tool Lutris which is running the steam proton version of the game. Link to the Lutris page of the game

2. Counter Strike Global Offensive(CS:GO): CS:GO has native support for linux. Just install steam client on any linux system and download the game from steam store. Link to the steam store page

3. Rocket League: Rocket Leagueis now run from epic games launcher as steam discontinued its support for the game. Epic games Launcher is run using Lutris, which runs it using wine. Then rocket league is downloaded from the epic games store. Link to the lutris page of the game

4. Warframe: Warframe can be downloaded from both steam and lutris. In the video the lutris version is shown. From the official website of lutris, the standalone version is downloaded.
