RetroArch and Arc Browser setup
Installing Retroarch to Fire TV/Stick
Download Retroarch apk - http://retroarch.com/index.php?page=platforms
Choose Android download
Sideload Retoarch to the Fire TV/Stick (many ways to do this, video example below)
Video guide on how to install retoarch to Fire TV/Stick
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vs8eoBy_wHc
Once Retroarch is installed launch Retroarch for initial setup
Move down to online updater and enter.
Update Core info Files.
Update Databases.
Update Assets.
Update Joypad Profiles.
Then move to Core updater (This is where we will choose the emulators we want to install. Arc Browser will refer back to these)
The list of cores (emulators) covers most systems. Ps1/PsP is the highest Fire Tv/Stick can process N64 is rough and I dont bother and Dreamcast is out as well.
Pick one or two for whatever system you want to emulate. Here are a few I use
FBA - FB Alpha or FFB Alpha 2012 (depends on the rom set you have)
GB/GBC - Emux
GBA - gpSP or Beetle GBA
MAME - MAME or MAME 2000 (depends on the rom set you have)
NDS - DeSmuME
NES/Famicom - QuickNES
Neo Geo Color/Pocket - Beetle NeoPop
PS1 - PCSX ReARMed or Beetle PSX (some games may need a different core to run )
PSP - PPSSPP
SNES/Super Famicom - Snes9x
Sega Systems - Genesis Plus GX (includes:Genesis / Mega Drive, Sega/Mega CD, Master System, Game Gear & SG-1000)
Here is a video guide of how to set up retroarch on android. Around 3:24 in the video is where I would start and the part about roms is not important, but watching the whole thing will give a better understanding of how/what retroarch can do.

The last thing to do in Retroarch is to set up your controller if it is not working correctly.
From the main menu move to settings and enter.
Inside settings move to input and enter
Move down to Input User 1 Binds. Bind Buttons from there.
Installing Arc Browser on Fire TV/Stick
On a usb stick or micro sd card create two folders one named "theme" and one named "roms"
The theme folder is where most of the custom look for Arc Browser can be set.
In the roms folder you should have/make a seperate system folder for each system you want to emulate and the roms for each system should be in the respective system folder.
If you want to use custom box art it also needs to be placed in this folder and named correctly.

I would reccommend purchasing Arc Browser on your phone or tablet from the play store and then use Apk Extractor also found in the play store to extract and then side load the Arc Browser APK to your Fire TV/Stick.
Once Arc Browser is installed onto the Fire TV/Stick launch Arc Browser for initial setup.
Move to settings and enter.
Move down to Global UI settings.
Theme directory to set the location of your theme.
Next we will add a system and the rom location
From the main menu move to settings and enter.
Move down to Add a new system and enter.
Move down to the core (emulator) that you installed with retroarch. In this example we will use the SNES.
In the list we are looking for snes9x from retroarch. The list is alphabetical so scroll down to the "R" section of the list and you should see Retroarch keep going until you find RetroArch Snes9x select it and choose the first option.
Move down to SNES and enter.
Move down to ROM directory and navigate to where you created your SNES rom folder and set it as the directory. (should be on sdcard1 or usbotg)
Move down to ROM extension and .zip, .smc, .sfc
(other games will have different extensions)
*If using custom box art move down until you see "Download front box art" and "Download back box art" and uncheck them both. leave them be if you want Arc Browser to download box art*
Escape back to Home menu and and choose Database tasks.
Rescan and scrape all roms and download artwork here as wel if not using custom box art.
This video should help with setting up Arc Browser
