You can use many programs and games using Wine your Linux Mint computer.
The following are the commands required to install Wine on Linux Mint 19.x;
- sudo dpkg --add-architecture i386
- wget -nc https://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/winehq.key
- sudo apt-key add winehq.key
- sudo apt-add-repository 'deb https://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/ubuntu/ cosmic main'
- sudo apt update
- sudo apt install --install-recommends winehq-stable
The following are the commands required to install Wine on Linux Mint 18.x;
- sudo dpkg --add-architecture i386
- wget -nc https://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/winehq.key
- sudo apt-key add winehq.key
- sudo apt-add-repository 'deb https://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/ubuntu/ xenial main'
- sudo apt update
- sudo apt install --install-recommends winehq-stable
