Debaring about Open Home
Welcome to the Open Home project, a project created by webdeveloper [Tuur Dutoit](https://github.com/TuurDutoit) [website](http://tuurdutoit.be). The Open Home is a set of specs, tools and software, written especially for you and your home. The goal of the project is to standardise the way data about you, your habits, and your home are gathered, shared, analysed and used, by the OpenHome OS, third-party apps or even by yourself. Open Home is all about how data is shared, when it is shared and who it is shared with. But it is even more about you and your own cosy place. All open source, of course.
###About myself
Hello. My name is Tuur Dutoit, I'm 16 years old and I have been programming in HTML, CSS and javascript (especially node.js) since 2010. I have been experimenting a lot with web technologies. I have made a small [website](http://tuurdutoit.be) for myself, and a [bigger one](http://immense-dawn-7796.herokuapp.com) for an art project at school. I'm also the author of a web framework, [Frameworkz](https://github.com/TuurDutoit/frameworkz), written on top of Node.js. I feel ready now to dive into the world of Linked Data and make something awesome!
###How are we doing this?
I think the project should be split up into two parts: a linked data server, allowing easy and secure sharing of linked data, and an Open Home OS, which is actually, as I see it, a node-webkit program allowing to install apps and interact with the home.
