/r/YesterdayOnCracked doesn't accept text submissions so throwing this up on Gist instead.
April Fool's can be fun and all but I want to learn something from /r/TodayILearned. So here's how to
get it back. | |
The overlay is done via CSS so you have to kill off the subreddit stylesheet. Here's the easiest way I
found to do it: | |
Visit http://www.reddit.com/r/todayilearned/ and select "Open blockable items" in AdBlock. Look for a
URL like this (probably on the bottom):
http://www.redditstatic.com/subreddit-stylesheet/_N4K6B4JABm3WnuOwoCRAKpjzdo.css
Right-click it and select "Block this item". Refresh the page and TIL will be back.
Like any self-respecting Redittor, you should have RES installed. If not:
http://redditenhancementsuite.com/
Uncheck the "Use subreddit style" box in the sidebar to disable the stylesheets for the subreddit, even
if they change it. | |
Now visit AdBlock's blockable items list again and disable the rule that was blocking the stylesheet.
RES will take care of blocking it better now.
As I said, funny joke, but I don't want to not be able to browse TIL for 24 hours. :) |
