The Beta Kids

  • John Egbert - Likes all video games but is bad at all of them.
  • Rose Lalonde - Likes interactive fiction, but is more interested in the story than the actual puzzles.
  • Dave Strider - Likes really bad games, but only ironically. Is currently making "SBaHJ: teh VIDO gAEM???"
  • Jade Harley - Likes Simcity-esque games. It's fun to manage a tiny city and make people happy!

The Alternian Trolls

  • Karkat Vantas - Likes hard platformers. Good at them, but gets mad when really close to the end and dies.
  • Gamzee Makara - Likes all games, but does not really play them, mostly just watches the colors dance on his screen.
  • Terezi Pyrope - Likes speedrunning. Is a gamer. Very good at video games but also not mean about it. Holds the any% WR for SM64 blindfolded.
  • Sollux Captor - Likes puzzle games. Builds redstone compuners, and is currently working on programming a version ~ATH into the game.
  • Tavros Nitram - Likes rythym games. Still plays even after what happened with Vriska, but plays keyboard-based games instead of pad.
  • Aradia Megido - Does not play video games, but if she did it would be JRPGs. She's a fan of those overarching narratives.
  • Nepeta Leijon - Likes visual novels. Currently writing her own. May be fanfiction (it's definitely fanfiction).
  • Vriska Serket - Likes MOBAs. Is a Gamer™. Has been banned 8 times for killing her allies and opponents on multiple occasions.
  • Equius Zahaak - Likes Smash Bros and is really really good at it but also breaks the controller because of his STRONGNESS.
  • Kanaya Maryam - Likes exploratory adventure games ("""walking sims"""). Also likes horror games, for some reason.
  • Eridan Ampora - Likes triple AAA games because it is realistic and scientific and not fake magic. Has no taste.
  • Feferi Peixes - Likes sandbox games. Often builds aquatic related locations in all of them. Really really likes Subnatucia.

The Alpha Kids

  • Jane Crocker - Likes party games. Not interested in solo gaming at all very much.
  • Roxy Lalonde - Likes all video games. Is extremely good at ALL OF THEM. Also makes mods.
  • Dirk Strider - Likes first person shooters, but doesn't really have anyone to play with.
  • Jake English - Likes old Atari games, but only because he has never played anything else.
