Greetings golos community, congratulations on the successful launch!

I'm @jesta, and I'd welcome you to learn more personally about my in my steemit introduction. I am submitting myself as a delegate for the Golos network to become a meaningful part of it's development.

I have been a member of steemit.com for since July and involved in cryptography since 2013. I believe there is incredible potential in the technology behind Golos and I am building services to help it's growth.

My Golos Journey so far

I have been adapting my Steem related services since the Golos testnet launched a few weeks ago. Here's a brief rundown of how I have participated:

  • Created node.golos.ws, a public RPC API for Golos for users building tools and using the cli_wallet. This will be built just like steem.ws, and act as a high availablilty, latency based cluster of golos servers.
  • Created golosdb.com (based on steemdb.com) to act as the first full blockchain explorer for Golos.
  • I am currently working on Reprint, which will allow for anyone to build a website based on either golos or steem, or both!
  • Adapted golos.steemstats.com (from steemstats.com) to act as a real time dashboard for Golos users.
  • I have contributed to the golos (via steemit), you can find my contributions here.
  • I have published a number of guides on how to use the Steem blockchain, which anyone is welcome to translate and post over here on Golos. You can browse all of my posts on steemdb.com/@jesta/posts.
  • I have a load balanced seed node available at node.golos.ws:4243.
  • I have been a top 19 golos witness since the first hour with 0 blocks missed (though it will happen eventually!).
  • Participated as a miner during Golos testnet/live, as well as Steem mining.

Previous to all of this... I've also build hundreds of websites, dozens of community platforms, started a few businesses, and managed the distributed infrastructure for websites with millions of visitors a day. Most recently I worked in the video game industry, specifically focused on online experiences for communities. I think I've been around the internet once or twice in my 20 year career, and I'm excited that blockchain technologies are slowly becoming a part of my history :)

I plan on adapting every service I build to work with both Golos and Steem, as well as any future variations of this technology.

Delegate Server Infrastructure

Currently I have 2 delegate servers running, one primary and one as a backup, both in separate data centers. It's somewhat simple at the moment, as I am still working on a few aspects of it. When completed, it will be similar to the witness infrastructure I have running as a Steem witness.

As an active Witness on Steem, I have developed various tools which I am working on adapting to Golos. So far this includes a price feed, a witness failover script, a missing block notifier and some deployment scripts. I invite you to visit my github profile for the complete list. You can also follow along in my english blog on steemit.com to see what I'm working on.

Thank you for your time and consideration

If you'd like to support me as a delegate, you have my sincere thanks. You can find my username (@jesta) on the delegates page.

I look forward to seeing Golos succeed and prosper!
