I initially suggested a universal notification/news feed manager in which you can sign in with multiple accounts(Facebook, Twitter etc) and the app removes any redundant posts that may appear on two or more of those accounts. Also, some flexibility on what the user wants in the news feed can be provided. My second idea was a food wastage prevention app in which you can take photos of soiled plates at restaurants/canteens and the app does image processing and runs the data against a database of previously stored data from said image processing and calculates which food item(s) have the highest probability of being wasted. These items can be removed from the menu in the future and it will save a lot of resources. Also, it will save the restaurant/canteen a lot of money in the long run.

True to its nature, the FSA program accmoplishes just that - by breaking barriers for new(enthusiastic) folk to contribute to the community on a global scale.

One of the ways the FSA program accomplishes it is through the means of events and activities on campus. The reason for this is that events attract a lot of interested students, and act as a forum for positive discussions. Events are usually focussed on Mozilla products and initiatives - but not necessarily limited to it. Topics for discussions include open source software, privacy, WoMoz an
