This guide creates a reverse SSH tunnel to route all Plex server traffic through it.
Step 2 is done on the tunnel, all other steps are done on the plex server.
On plex server:
upstream plex-upstream {
# change plex-server.example.com:32400 to the hostname:port of your plex server.
# this can be "localhost:32400", for instance, if Plex is running on the same server as nginx.
server plex-server.example.com:32400;
} | |
server { | |
listen 80; | |
# server names for this server. |
// Just before switching jobs:
// Add one of these. | |
// Preferably into the same commit where you do a large merge.
// | |
// This started as a tweet with a joke of "C++ pro-tip: #define private public",
// and then it quickly escalated into more and more evil suggestions.
// I've tried to capture interesting suggestions here.

This file allows IntelliJ IDEA to perform basic syntax checking and code completion for
Jenkins workflow groovy scripts. https://github.com/jenkinsci/workflow-plugin
These methods are supported
sh | |
readFile | |
node | |
echo |
#!/bin/bash | |
sudo mount -o remount,size=10G,noatime /tmp
echo "Done. Please use 'df -h' to make sure folder size is increased." |
node { | |
echo 'Results included as an inline comment exactly how they are returned as of Jenkins 2.121, with $BUILD_NUMBER = 1'
echo 'No quotes, pipeline command in single quotes'
sh 'echo $BUILD_NUMBER' // 1
echo 'Double quotes are silently dropped'
sh 'echo "$BUILD_NUMBER"' // 1
echo 'Even escaped with a single backslash they are dropped'
sh 'echo \"$BUILD_NUMBER\"' // 1
echo 'Using two backslashes, the quotes are preserved'
sh 'echo \\"$BUILD_NUMBER\\"' // "1" |
This guide creates a reverse SSH tunnel to route all Plex server traffic through it.
Step 2 is done on the tunnel, all other steps are done on the plex server.
On plex server:
1. Setup a project | |
2. Add groovy SDK support:
https://www.bonusbits.com/wiki/HowTo:Add_Groovy_SDK_to_IntelliJ_IDEA
3. Download http://(yourjenkinsurl)/job/(yourpipelinejob)/pipeline-syntax/gdsl
- this will give you the .gdsl file - download this to the src folder of your project.
4. Finally follow this step - right click on the src folder -> Mark directory as -> Sources Root |
