I chose an interactive map that depicted the power outage levels in Florida caused by Hurricane Irma in real time. The subject matter was of particular interest to me being from/having family in Miami who lost power and were going through the post storm clean up process in sweltering temperatures. I’m interested in maps of all sorts and moreover the ones that show how urban environments and humans interact and how this can be depicted in realtime (I was very taken by the Citibike map you showed us in our first class). Or other subtle examples like google maps being able to depict traffic in realtime or weather radars
