Jewellery Quarter Bullion are seeking promising candidates looking for an opportunity to fulfil their potential as great software developers.

Salary: £25k - £35k + bonus (up to 30%)

Key responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining our bespoke integrated e-commerce, trading, and stock management platform.
  • Configuring, monitoring, and maintaining our server infrastructure.
  • Working closely with other team members to produce high-quality products, on time and on budget.
  • Helping to design, plan, and estimate website solutions.

What we're looking for

Essential

  • Experience using any server-side OO language, and a desire to learn Python.
  • Experience using an MVC framework, and a desire to learn Django.
  • Experience working on e-commerce or business systems. An active learner dedicated to improving not only themselves, but also their team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Beneficial

  • Experience building and maintaining Magento based systems.
  • Experience coding HTML5, CSS (we use Sass), and JavaScript.
  • Experience using a testing framework.
  • Amazon Web Services.
  • Cyber security.
  • Foreign languages.
  • An interest in financial markets, economics, and current affairs.
