Front End Developer / Designer

Jewellery Quarter Bullion are seeking promising candidates looking for an opportunity to fulfil their potential as great front end developer / designers.

Salary: £22k - £32k + bonus (up to 30%)

Key responsibilities

  • Designing and building responsive front ends for our existing and upcoming e-commerce platforms.
  • Steering the branding and usability of our websites.
  • Conducting user acceptance testing to ensure a positive user experience.
  • Working closely with other team members to produce high-quality products, on time and on budget.
  • Helping to design, plan, and estimate website solutions.

What we're looking for

Essential

  • Experience designing responsive websites using Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Experience coding HTML5, CSS (we use Sass).
  • Experience using a responsive framework (we use Bootstrap 3).
  • Experience using Javascript and jQuery to build dynamic front end systems.
  • A portfolio of existing work.
  • An active learner dedicated to improving not only themselves, but also their team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Beneficial

  • Experience working on e-commerce or business systems.
  • Experience using the Selenium testing framework.
  • Foreign languages.
  • An interest in financial markets, economics, and current affairs.
