Poll Mole

Original Facebook Post

All Trump supporters please read!! And SHARE!!!! We need to reach billions!

Please spread the word about the Poll Mole app pending patent that was released a few days ago - the goal is to have at least 20 million voters use this app for polling, particularly on the exit poll on election day nov 8 - you vote for your candidate and your vote is registered in the cloud, and the votes are tracked by the Poll Mole system - it has been stressed tested by killer bees and the app withstood the stress test - it detects election fraud 99.98%, it is hack proof, it is crash proof - its purpose is to circumvent the news media and globalist agenda to steal the election - it canvases all 180,000 precincts in the US in real-time, 24/7 - read the FAQ and dr richard davis, inventor explains how the media is skimming the election - if election fraud is detected, the fraudulent activity can be reported by poll mole through its technology that counts each vote in the exit poll as an electronic affadavit, these poll votes are legal documents that can be used in State and federal courts; and the scotus - this app will be running real time on election day, do not vote early, vote on election day, they are stealing the early votes - get the word out - keep posting this -

Me: Demand they release the source code, or don't trust it. "5th generation NSA-level encryption technology" and "Terabyte/sec high speed quantum tunnels attached to a dynamic load balancing flex-cloud" are meaningless phrases. Sounds like horse droppings to me.

My aunt: Christopher, Would you please ask them to release the source code? Computers are your forte

Me: They replied to me, and they seem like charlatans. Quick breakdown why I think this:

On their website: "5th generation NSA-level encryption technology" is a vague term. If the people at PollMole were serious about transparency (as they claim to be), they would name an encryption algorithm (e.g. AES-256) that has been proven time and again. It feels like they are relying on vagaries to mask the fact that they aren't doing anything special.

"Terabyte/sec high speed quantum tunnels attached to a dynamic load balancing flex-cloud" is word salad, but let's try to parse out some meaning.

"Terabyte/second" implies that they can move a lot of data very quickly. On the face of it, this seems like a pretty good, if expensive thing. Why, though? Why would they need to move this much data? Moving one terabyte per second is about the same as serving 200,000 4K video streams (better than HD, about the same quality as a mid-range movie theater) all at once. Netflix probably does this, but it costs about half a billion dollars per year. It's like claiming your car can break the sound barrier: yes, cars have been built that can do this, but there's really no reason why your car would be able to.

"quantum tunnels" are science fiction garbage from Star Trek.

"dynamic load balancing" is a real thing that it makes sense for them to use. It's also pretty basic if you want a web application that more than about 100 people will use, so it's nothing to brag about.

"flex-cloud" is either nonsense, or a trademarked service sold by Hostway that costs about $13/mo.

All together, "Terabyte/sec high speed quantum tunnels attached to a dynamic load balancing flex-cloud" is impressive-sounding but meaningless.

I'll paste their email below, but here are some quotes:

"As of yesterday, our claims have been verified by 29 professional app reviewers. 23 Android reviewers and 6 iOS reviewers have tested the technology. All 29 rate PollMole 5 of 5 stars in each and every category. We are unaware of any app that has received this level of technological acclaim."

PollMole is conflating the stability of their mobile app with the security and audibility of the data they intend to collect. Whether intentionally or not, this statement seeks to bamboozle me into believing that, because they're created a mobile app that works, the rest of their systems work. Furthermore, they're making a logical appeal to authority, but refusing to name the authority. This is a classic rhetorical fallacy.

"As far as providing the technology in an open source format, this cannot be done while at the same time maintaining an end to end envelope of Level5 encryption; since such access would open the deeper system to unwanted intrusion. Good idea though... And is consistent with one of our foundational principles - transparency. "

PollMole is telling me that, by not providing their code, I can trust it. That's not how things work. People who develop encryption schemes publish them far and wide so that others can check their work and help fix mistakes. PollMole is claiming to have an incredible system, but they're not letting anybody look. "Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain", so to speak.

In summary, I wouldn't put any stock in PollMole. Their email to me is reproduced below:

Hi Chris,

We really appreciate your comment.

As of yesterday, our claims have been verified by 29 professional app reviewers. 23 Android reviewers and 6 iOS reviewers have tested the technology.

All 29 rate PollMole 5 of 5 stars in each and every category. We are unaware of any app that has received this level of technological acclaim. We are attaching one of the review summaries that we received from Android on October 9. We have previously made this public. Obviously, more have been received since.

As far as providing the technology in an open source format, this cannot be done while at the same time maintaining an end to end envelope of Level5 encryption; since such access would open the deeper system to unwanted intrusion. Good idea though... And is consistent with one of our foundational principles - transparency.

Our only solution to the dilemma is our standing policy of providing full audit access to any credentialed investigator; with the only condition being that they will have to agree that we will have their final report published throughout the social media. Thus far we have had no takers to this standing offer.
