Rackspace is looking for full time Python developers in (Eastern)
European locations to work remotely on interesting and challenging
OpenStack projects.

We are looking for candidates with:

    - a bachelor's degree in computer science or a couple of years of
      relevant experience in software engineering
    - knowledge of (and ideally experience with) Python
    - good working knowledge of or experience with git
    - experience with agile development (including TDD and code reviews)
    - solid oral/written English language skills
    - the ability to work from home in self-directed fashion and with
      minimal supervision
    - a desire to learn and hone your professional skills continuously
    - good team-work/collaboration skills and the ability to deliver to
      tight deadlines and/or under pressure

In addition to the above you will ideally have

    - commercial experience in large scale software development (ideally
      in Python) and/or development experience in an open source setting
    - good working knowledge of or experience with
        - cloud computing
        - distributed software design
        - messaging systems (ideally amqp based)
        - relational databases
        - linux system administration
