Storylet Title: "A Trail of Crumbs"
Appears in The Fifth City
Description: A pair of Society ladies emerge smiling from a tea shop. "Did you see her little tentacles? How daintily she grasped the cup? Just _adorable_"
The other sighs. "I was going to get one, you know. But many sellers de-beak them. Can you imagine?" The pair adopt appropriately scandalised expressions.

Branch Title: "Investigate"
Description: If Society considers something worth gossiping about, it's almost certainly worth you finding out more.
Requirements: None
Event: "A chorus of coos"
The cafe is packed with Society persons indulging in a light afternoon tea. Their chairs are all turned towards a small table in the corner. A server is there, clearing away a high tea stand with the remains of a crust-less cucumber sandwich, a few lumps of ginger bun and an untouched piece of Victoria sponge.
One customer is leaving, but she stops beside you at the door. "You just missed the dear. The most charming little thing – a Blemmigan with perfect table manners and _opinions_ on cake. Entrancing." Her companion nods. "She was scurrying towards Beatrice's. Good choice, I say."

Storylet Title: "A Blemmigan at Beatrice's"
Appears in The Fifth City Limited to area: Somewhere Else
Description: Ah, Beatrice's! London's favourite tea rooms. They have an occasional quartet playing Purcell, a range of fragrant teas and a menu dedicated to cake and scones— Oh their scones! It's whispered that, on certain Tuesdays, they even have clotted cream from the Surface.
A Blemmigan is perched on the front counter. There is a standoff. The Blemmigan is gesticulating at a menu: requesting the freshest scones. The server is asking for evidence that it can pay.

Branch Title: "Purchase the Blemmigan a full cream tea"
Description: It is the only way this situation will be resolved to everyone's satisfaction.
Requirements: None
Event: "Sucking crumbs off tentacles"
You are seated in a velveted booth. The Blemmigan extends a tendril to pat your hand in a gesture of thanks. Then she focuses on the array of fine comestibles before her. She wields a jam spoon with great skill – never once tainting the mixture with cream. The gentle humming as she inserts jam-cream-scone into her maw suggests she is contented. She is so focused on the food, you're afforded a moment to scrutinise your unusual companion. She bears old scars – triangles of flesh that have regrown a different colour to the surrounding tissue. One frondule appears to have suffered rope burn. Her life has not always been easy.
Finally, she presses her tendrils to the plates, removing every last morsel. Sated, she scurries across the table and rolls into your lap. She looks up with an expression that can only mean 'What next?'.
When you get her home, she sets to building a nest from various woollen items she takes from your laundry. [qvd:Blemmigan Pedant(Tourist)][qvd:Blemmigan Secretary(Tourist)] [qvd:Blemmigan Hat(Tourist)]Seems she's here to stay.
