Pair whiteboarding exercise.

Pair Whiteboarding Exercise

Goal

Practice whiteboarding and reinforce best practices according to Interview Rubric

Steps

  1. You were assigned a group A or B. Remember your group.
  2. Go to the Whiteboarding Questions Repo
  3. Each readme here has a name in the format NN@.md where N is a number from 0-9 and @ will be a letter A or B for example the first question of group A is 01A.md
  4. You will be put into breakout rooms with other people in your group to discuss the problems and solutions and for you to ask questions about them.
  5. Individually or in your group Look at the readme for the first question for your group if you are group A that will be 01A.md if your are in group B it's 01B.md
  6. Each readme has two questions with their respective solutions. Your job is to study and understand the question and the solution very well. You will ask these question to someone of the opposite group, where you will play the interviewer role.
  7. Review the Interview Rubric that you will use when interviewing your peer. This is the same rubric volunteer use to assess you in your certifying interview. I recommend sure to condense it or memorize it if necessary. We want to see you hitting all these points for any given interview.
  8. You will be paired with someone from the oposite group. If you are from group A you will play interviewer first and the member from group B will be the interiviewee. You will swap after 30-45 minutes.
  9. If you are playing the interviewer role fill out the rubric for your interivewee as the interview progresses in this form
