Like humans, animals desire the same basic things such as safety and love. Perhaps we should reconsider the role that animals play in our society, and move towards a more compassionate model for the food that we eat. We are not very much different from animals, and in the grand scheme of things have all been thrown into this world with very little say of who we are and how the world interacts with us. I feel that by acknowledging each other's struggles, we may form progress together, shaping a better world for Earth and all of its inhabitants.
