Match user search with hamza in Arabic ( أ، ا ، آ ، إ ) against a list of words - UTF8
let match_arabic = (user_input, word) => {
let user_input_regx = "";
for (let d = 0; d < user_input.length; d++) {
//البحث عن أ، ا ، آ و إ
let hamz_letters = ["أ", "ا", "آ", "إ"].join("|")
const hamz_regx = new RegExp(hamz_letters);
if (hamz_regx.test(user_input.charAt(d))) {
user_input_regx += "[" + hamz_letters + "]";
} else {
user_input_regx += user_input.charAt(d);

A CSS pseudo-element is used to style specified parts of an element. In some cases you can style native HTML controls with vendor specific pseudo-elements. Here you will find an list of cross browser specific pseudo-element selectors.

Styling native elements

Native HTML controls are a challenge to style. You can style any element in the web platform that uses Shadow DOM with a pseudo element ::pseudo-element or the /deep/ path selector.

  background-color: lime;
}

PostgreSQL command line cheatsheet

PSQL

Magic words:

psql -U postgres

Some interesting flags (to see all, use -h or --help depending on your psql version):

  • -E: will describe the underlaying queries of the \ commands (cool for learning!)
  • -l: psql will list all databases and then exit (useful if the user you connect with doesn't has a default database, like at AWS RDS)
