This nifty trick is actually from MacRumors but unfortunately, this valuable tip has a dead link on their website. The MacBook Air’s display is great but this valuable trick makes it even better, making it a feast for your eyes after you do this.

Procedure

  1. Download and install the color profile by running in a terminal:
sudo curl -L# -o /Library/ColorSync/Profiles/Displays/MacbookAir_Color_LCD.icc https://gist.github.com/amercier/e6d118fc73ecf2efb8ca183cbae20c48/raw/MacbookAir_Color_LCD.icc
  1. Open System Preferences > Displays > Color.
  2. Select Color LCD profile from the bottom profiles list.
