Amy Holt, Erik Ingvalson
We both want to learn and use jQuery for this project! I want to get practice manipulating the DOM, and feel confident about the JS we've learned so far. Erik wants to also strengthen his confidence with JS and jQuery.
We are both determined to get through Phase 4 and meet benchmark goals in a timely manner to avoid last minute stress.
Erik has more experience since he's already done Mod1. I bring strong organization to the table. We have gotten to know each other in class and both work hard and stay focused, so feel good about the dynamic.
We won't panic when we encounter obstacles; we will try to break down the problem to identify exactly where it is coming from. We have signed up for many pairing sessions over the next week to get Mod2 support.
Amy works best in the morning and has to get home to her dog ASAP after school. Erik lives close so has flexible availability. We will work about 1 hour before school, during lunch and 2 hours after school msot days. We are also both interested in working on the weekend.
Communication Expectations (How and often will we communicate? How do we keep lines of communication open?):
We will meet daily and reserve the last 5-10 minutes to set next steps and responsibilities. We will text if running late or have an unexpected conflict.
Erik has a stronger hold on JS and I care a lot about UI.
We want to work on all features together for this first project with the pilot/navigator.
We will commit and push to GitHub at the end of each work session.
